Its 40.5 mm steel case combines stretched lines with a particularly fluid integrated construction, offering a sporty presence without sacrificing finesse. With only 10.6 mm thick and a water resistance to 120 metres, it was designed as a real watch of high watchmaking capable of being worn on a daily basis.

The real signature of this version lies in its Glacier Blue dial. Its twisted surface sports the three-dimensional motif "Stairway to Eternity", composed of a succession of trapezoids that capture light and create a remarkable play of shadows and depth. Its ice blue colour obtained by PVD treatment evolves subtly according to the lighting, while the sword hands and three-dimensional indexes provide a clear and contemporary reading. The date window placed at 6 o'clock voluntarily preserves the symmetry of the dial.

Through the sapphire bottom is revealed the automatic calibre SXH5, the first movement entirely designed internally by Czapek from a blank sheet. Its open architecture is dominated by seven skeletonized bridges and a decentralized micro-rotor with a recycled 950 platinum mass, leaving the gear train widely visible. Operating at 4 Hz, this movement offers more than 56 hours of power reserve and benefits from high watchmaking finishes combining angles, sandblasted surfaces and stretched sides.

The integrated steel bracelet completes this architecture with its ergonomic links revealing, once assembled, the characteristic "C" of Czapek. Its quick change system also makes it easy to switch with a rubber or leather strap. With its immediately recognisable Glacier Blue dial, micro-rotor movement and deliberately confidential production, Drake's Antarctic Passage offers a singular vision of the sport-chic watch, intended for collectors looking for a truly independent alternative to the great icons of the genre.

Les Reflets de l’Antarctique La Czapek Antarctique Passage de Drake Glacier Blue est l’une des expressions les plus séduisantes de la haute horlogerie sportive indépendante contemporaine.
