The Streamliner line marked a turning point for H. Moser & Cie. when it was unveiled in 2020. With its integrated design, flowing curves, uncompromising fumé dial, and a clear ambition to offer an alternative vision of the sport-chic watch, it redefined the brand’s modern identity. Among the variations, the Centre Seconds model, in its apparent simplicity, may best embody that intent. The Matrix Green is more than a new colour, it is a statement of identity. A vibrant fumé green whose reflections shift between deep emerald and anthracite depending on the light. The dial, now bearing a transparent lacquer signature in matching tones, cultivates the art of discretion. The name H. Moser & Cie. appears only for those who know where to look.

Reference 6201-1200 also introduces a new heart: the calibre HMC 201. An evolution of the HMC 200, this automatic manufacture movement offers a 72-hour power reserve, an anti-magnetic Straumann hairspring, and a partially open architecture designed to reveal more of Moser’s finishing work. The 18-carat gold oscillating weight has been redesigned as well – slimmer, more geometric, and visually refined. Through the sapphire caseback, the movement’s composition plays with contrast: anthracite surfaces, blued screws, Geneva stripes, and polished bevels. A subtle yet expressive balance that captures the aesthetic philosophy of the brand.

On the wrist, the Streamliner delivers a distinct experience. Its 40 mm cushion-shaped case in satin-finished steel follows the wrist’s curve with remarkable fluidity. The integrated bracelet, made of progressively articulated links, gives an almost organic sensation of movement and comfort. Despite its technical look, the watch remains thin and elegant, easily suited to both formal and casual settings. This 2024 version discreetly replaces the original 6200-1200, introducing the transparent logo, a refined movement, and a more assertive personality. It retains everything that made the Streamliner Centre Seconds a success, now enriched with greater depth and maturity.
