The Cartier Santos Large reference WSSA0018 transposes one of the most iconic designs of the house in a resolutely contemporary watch. Its steel case with rounded corners retains the characteristic lines of the Santos, while the bezel and visible screws create this immediately recognisable continuity between the case and the bracelet.
The silver opaline dial remains faithful to Cartier's aesthetic language with its large black Roman numerals, railway timer and blueish steel sword hands. The seven-sided crown adorned with a facetted synthetic spinel completes this set, while the 6 o'clock date window provides an additional function without unbalancing the dial.
With its dimensions of 47.5 x 39.8 mm and a slim profile of 9.38 mm, this Large Model version retains an assertive presence while remaining elegant on the wrist. It is driven by the Cartier 1847 MC automatic calibre offering about 40 hours of power reserve and benefits from a water resistance up to 100 metres. Its steel bracelet incorporates the SmartLink system to easily adjust its length, while the QuickSwitch system allows you to quickly switch to the second calfskin strap provided with the watch.
