Offshore Gold
Launched in 2016, reference 116621 marked a significant evolution in the Yacht-Master collection by introducing, for the first time, a combination of Oystersteel and 18 ct Everose gold within a 40 mm case. This two-tone pairing, both understated and refined, lends the watch a rare versatility, balancing sporty elegance with a touch of precious sophistication.
The version presented here features a black dial and highlights a bidirectional rotating bezel in solid gold, fitted with a unique powdery rose gold insert exclusive to this reference. The polished raised numerals stand out beautifully against the satin-finished background, creating a subtle and elegant play of contrasts. This delicate and distinctive colour brings a more sophisticated dimension than the tones typically found in the professional range.
The 40 mm case, water-resistant to 100 metres, features polished flanks and a screw-down steel caseback, while the Triplock crown ensures optimal security. The two-tone Oyster bracelet, alternating brushed steel links with polished Everose gold centre links, is fitted with an Oysterlock clasp and a 5 mm Easylink extension system.
Inside, the watch is powered by the calibre 3135, a longstanding classic of the Rolex manufacture, equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and certified as a Superlative Chronometer. It offers a 48-hour power reserve and outstanding reliability under all conditions.
This 2017 example is offered in excellent condition and comes complete with its full original set. An ideal choice for those seeking a distinctive, comfortable and well-balanced Rolex, positioned midway between discreet luxury and confident sportiness.
