Warmth in the Sky
The reference 126715CHNR embodies the fusion of the GMT-Master II line’s iconic robustness with the absolute refinement of 18 ct Everose gold, Rolex’s exclusive rose gold alloy. Launched in 2018, this version, nicknamed “Root Beer” by collectors due to its black and brown bi-colour bezel, revisits a classic from the brand with uncommon sophistication.
The watch features a 40 mm Everose gold case, alternating brushed and polished finishes, topped by a Cerachrom ceramic bezel in black and brown. The 24-hour numerals are engraved and filled with rose gold via PVD. The glossy black dial is understated and highly legible, enhanced by applied hour markers and hands in rose gold, all filled with Chromalight for optimal readability in any lighting conditions.
The solid gold Oyster bracelet, with fully solid links and an Oysterlock clasp with Easylink extension, ensures both comfort and security. The overall presence is both sporty and unmistakably luxurious, designed for discerning collectors and demanding travellers alike.
At its heart beats the calibre 3285, offering GMT functionality via an independently adjustable 24-hour hand, allowing the simultaneous reading of two time zones. This in-house automatic movement is Superlative Chronometer-certified, with a 70-hour power reserve and an accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day.
This example, dated 2022, is offered in unworn condition and comes with its full original set. A prestigious timepiece, balancing professional functionality with refined aesthetics, and already regarded as a modern icon within the Rolex collection.
