Introduced in 2023 as the successor to the Cellini collection, the Rolex 1908 embodies the brand’s contemporary vision of classical watchmaking. This new line marks a deliberate return to traditional elegance, while maintaining the technical standards that define the manufacture. Reference 52508-0008, paired with the Settimo bracelet and Intense White dial, stands among the most refined expressions of this collection.

The 39 mm case is crafted in 18 ct yellow gold. Its lines alternate between polished surfaces and gently curved profiles, with the 1908’s signature bezel combining a fluted section with a domed outer ring. The proportions are particularly harmonious, offering a presence on the wrist that is both elegant and discreet.

The Intense White dial is distinguished by its subtle satin finish and an architecture inspired by the manufacture’s classical timepieces. Applied Arabic numerals at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock are complemented by faceted yellow gold hour markers, while the hands, inspired by a modernised Breguet style, reinforce the model’s traditional horological aesthetic. The small seconds at 6 o’clock completes the composition with balance and precision.

The watch is powered by the Rolex manufacture calibre 7140, an automatic movement introduced alongside the 1908 collection. Equipped with the Chronergy escapement and a Syloxi silicon hairspring, it offers a power reserve of approximately 66 hours and meets the Superlative Chronometer standard, ensuring outstanding precision and reliability.

This version is fitted with the 18 ct yellow gold Settimo bracelet, composed of seven very fine, fully polished links. Its supple and articulated construction provides exceptional comfort, while adding a distinctly elegant and almost jewellery-like dimension to the watch.

The present example dates from 2026 and is offered in strictly new, unworn condition, with its original factory stickers still in place. It is delivered as a full set with box, outer box, original papers and accessories.
